He had a white horse which was used for hauling trucks from the workings to the loading point at the head end of the aerial ropeway. [Edwards 1991]
Tŷ’n y Pant is possibly the farm shown at SH587244 north of Coed Ystumgwern. If this was Edwards’ home when he was working at Egryn, he would have had a three mile (5km) each way walk (or possibly ride) to and from work each day.
