Incline and underground working

The dark area conceals a large (~ 3 m x 1m) opening into the worked out bed, which dips at ~ 70°. This stope has been descended to about 10 m depth but is choked in both directions with loose material. The stope is floored with mainly loose material and there is a hole in the floor through boulders into (possibly deep) water.
