Worked in a vein 4–5 feet (1.3–1.6m) wide dipping at 77.5°, worked “about forty years ago” [Halse 1892: 946].
W Bowen-Jones writing in August 1905 describes the location as being “about 2 ¼ miles in the Ll’ Mochllyn direction from Bryn Ifan and was worked about 20 years ago”. He annotates this entry with “Vaughan Jones of Bryn Ifan, Celyn, Bala” – presumably the source of the information. [GAS CAO: XD/35/420 p. 101]
